My 10 Days

Small business, Big difference.

With water, comes hope.

In June 2013, Anita Brightley-Hodges, Founder of My Ten Days will be climbing Mount Elgon in Uganda. She hopes to raise over £5,000 to fund the boaring of a drinking well in a desperately poor community in Uganda. This well will give clean water to over 2,000 people who currently have to walk miles and miles every day.

Anita was inspired by her trip to Uganda last year where she saw some amazing projects in place thanks to the Fields of Life charity. They have been funding schools, orphanages and community projects to make life better for the people of Uganda.

The WellGood campaign from My Ten Days aims to encourage small businesses and families to sponsor the digging of a well. Once you have raised enough money you can go and see your well being dug and the well will feature a plaque in your honour. Sponsor a well, change lives.

Anita's LIVE diary from Mount Elgon, Uganda:

DAY 1: After a LONG journey from Heathrow to Entebbe via Doha, we were taken to Shalom where a delicious lunch was waiting. This afternoon we are off to Treasured Kids Primary School to meet the children we sponsored on our last trip. Then a rest tonight before setting off tomorrow.
